《我最爱的中华宝贝》第34集陈诺圆：穿越古今的双胞胎牌楼

　　由中共上海市委对外宣传办公室、上海市文化和旅游局、上海广播电视台融媒体中心（SMG NEWS）联合发起，2023“爱上海的理由”青少年英语短视频征集展播活动以“我最爱的中华宝贝”为题，诚邀全球新生代用向上的风貌、良好的英语表达和创意的镜头语言展现青少年眼中具有当代价值和世界意义的中华优秀传统文化。在这一集里，跟随着陈诺圆同学的步伐，来认识一对特殊的“姐妹花”，它们一个出生于1913年，一个出生于2023年，这对年龄相隔一个世纪的土山湾牌楼“姐妹花”连结了古今，讲述了一段特别的故事。

　　陈诺圆自述：

　　大家好！我今天给大家介绍的是建筑界的一对“双胞胎姐妹”。她们十分特别！因为“姐姐”出生于1913年，“妹妹”出生于2023年。现在请跟随我的步伐，一起欣赏这伟大的杰作。

　　110年前，土山湾牌楼由德国修士葛承亮带领一群孩子们建造而成。他们用了大约一年的时间，雕刻出一座高5.8米、宽5.2米的牌楼。这座牌楼是四柱三室，榫卯结构，布满了雕刻装饰。这使它成为中国的一代珍宝。此外，它还参加了1915年、1933年、1939年的世界博览会，并于2009年返回土山湾。

　　现在，让我们看看她的“妹妹”。妹妹与姐姐非常相似，采用3D打印技术建造，现藏于徐家汇书院。它呈现出晶莹剔透的栅格牌楼新形象，与现代技术诠释传统工艺的主题相呼应。

　　这两座牌楼虽然相隔一个世纪，但它们就像一座桥梁连接着过去和未来，体现了中国人民的勤劳和智慧。让我们期待下一个世纪后的新发展吧！

　　Hello everyone, today I am going to introduce you to a pair of twin sisters in architecture. They are really special because the elder sister was born in 1913, and the younger sister was born in 2023. Now please follow my step and appreciate these wonderful masterpieces.

　　110 years ago, Tou-Se-We Gateway was designed by a GermansinologistAloysius Beck (Chinese name Ge Chengliang),and a bunch of Chinese kids. They used about one year to sculpture an archway which is 5.8 meters talland 5.2 meters wide. This archway features four wooden columns,with mortise and tenon structure. It is full of carved decorations. Itparticipated in the World Expo in 1915, 1933, 1939 and returned to Tou-Se-Wein 2009.

　　Now let usgo andsee her younger sister - the very similar archway which was printed by 3D printeratthe Zikawei Libraryin Xujiahui. Its appearance presents a new image of crystal-clear grid archway, echoing the theme of using modern technology to interpret traditional craftsmanship.

　　The two archway were constructed a century apart, yetthey are just like a bridge, connecting the past to the future. Let us anticipate what the future holds for another century!
