英国：菜单标注卡路里
英国要求员工数量在250人以上的餐饮店强制执行在菜单上标注卡路里，禁止高脂、高糖、高盐食品和饮料“买一送一”。来自英、美、加等国家的研究表明，菜单上的卡路里标签会导致顾客点餐时平均减少大约47千卡的热量，而商家则会把他们餐食中的平均卡路里含量减少15千卡。
希腊：学校免费营养餐“狙击”小胖墩
希腊慈善机构为全国条件最差的学校提供免费营养餐，该计划平均每年使儿童肥胖率降低40%，超重率降低1/3。这项倡议已为全国800所学校大约12万名学生免费提供了超过1700万份食品，世卫组织称这是鼓励在儿童和青少年时期形成良好饮食习惯的一个值得推广的典型。
阿联酋迪拜：减1公斤=赚1克黄金

日本：腰围超标别想上班！
日本是第一个为控制肥胖率而立法的国家。日本政府早在2008年就实施法令，对企业员工腰围设限，立法规定40岁以上男性腰围≤85cm、女性≤90cm。腰围超标者必须去检查血压、血糖、血脂，若其中一项不合格，必须在3个月内自行减肥。如果减肥失败，必须接受饮食控制教育；而若6个月后仍然超重，则要接受再教育或自行离职。
新西兰：拒绝“胖移民”
在新西兰，肥胖是申请签证的一道门槛。南非一女子就曾因“太胖”被新西兰移民局拒签，移民官给出的理由是，她的BMI太高，体重超重，有比较高的健康风险，这会给新西兰政府资助的医疗保健系统带来很大的压力。好在她减肥成功，终获定居许可。
印度：全民瑜伽对抗肥胖
总理莫迪亲自推广瑜伽运动，以全民瑜伽的热潮，积极应对日益严峻的肥胖问题。莫迪可谓是瑜伽的“首席推销员”，2024年，正是他的积极推动，联合国将6月21日定为国际瑜伽日。

This initiative has provided more than 17 million servings of food for free to around 120,000 students in 800 schools nationwide. Dubai,United Arab Emirates: Lose 1 Kg, Get 1 Gram of Gold

India: Yoga for All to Combat Obesity
Prime Minister Modi has personally promoted the yoga movement, using the nationwide yoga craze to actively address the increasingly serious problem of obesity. Modi can be described as the "Chief Marketing Officer" of yoga. In 2024, it was his active advocacy that led the United Nations to designate June 21st as the International Day of Yoga.
